Costco had a brand of refined coconut oil in tubs like this, I bought a years supply and it was decent quality, but not amazing. I think this is higher quality, it looks very white and clean and cooks very well. The Costco stuff had a yellow tint and didn't look as clean and well processed, I think it didn't work as well for cooking either.
Expeller pressed coconut oil
Love this coconut oil. I don't much like the taste or aroma of virgin coconut oil so this oil really fits the bill for me. It makes great fully ozonated coconut oil too.
Great for Vegan Cooking/Baking
I use so much of this item that I buy it by the 1-gallon bucket. This oil is refined, meaning it has gone through a process removing the coconut taste, but sometimes a coconut taste is undesired. I use it for making vegan "cheeses" and for baking goodies in which I need a neutral flavor. I like that this oil is organic and no solvents or chemicals are used to give it that neutral flavor!
I have cooked , baked
I have cooked , baked with this for a long time . I do not use any other oil exept olive oil and the organic coconut oil. Love this product.
I have been buying this oil for years now. I don't like the flavor of unprocessed coconut oil and I don't seem to digest it well but this stuff is a great and I have no problem digesting it or tasting the coconut in it.
