Product Description
This buttery, caramel-like syrup is most similar in taste to molasses and about the same consistency but it is similar to maple syrup in the way it is made. While molasses is made by first soaking the sugar cane in water, filtering it and then boiling the water, coconut syrup and maple syrup are both made by simmering the sap of a tree until it becomes thick and very concentrated.

This delicious syrup is great as a topping on desserts, ice cream, pancakes, oatmeal and all kinds of foods. You can use it in your homemade granola, apple crisp or gluten-free cinnamon rolls. This is a wonderful syrup to use in place of honey, maple syrup or molasses. It received "two thumbs up" from preliminary taste testing of the employees at Wilderness Family Naturals!

Big hit on pancakes!

My kids love this on pancakes. My 16 year old wisely noted that it "almost tastes buttery, without artificial flavors." Both agree they like it better than maple syrup or sorghum. Love the consistency and the mild, delicious flavor.

Great susbstitute for maple syrup!

I am so grateful for this delicious product! I have a 5 year old that has a food intolerance to maple syrup. We use maple syrup as our main sweetener of choice. I happened to have just purchased a jar of coconut syrup out of curiosity of its taste when I found out my child couldn't eat maple syrup anymore. My child really likes it and has not even missed her once favorite maple syrup. :) Thank you, Wilderness Family Naturals!

YUMM!

It has a caramel buttery molasses flavor! While it is very nice by itself, I really enjoy adding a little bit of Green Pasture Ghee or for a richer deeper flavor Kerrygold butter and using it as a topping for pancakes, vanilla ice cream and popcorn!! I have also used it for banana bread, muffins and cookies. I am totally addicted!
