Agave Nectar, Raw, Certified Organic
Agave Nectar is a sweet syrup made from the Blue Agave plant. It is obtained by the extraction and purification of “sap” from the Agave plant, which is broken down by natural enzymes into the monosaccharides (simple sugars): mainly fructose (70-75%) and dextrose (20-26%).
The product is certified organic. Wilderness Family Naturals’ Agave Nectar is never heated during processing and is considered raw. For more information click Agave Nectar. |

Vegetable Glycerine
Vegetable Glycerine is a clear, colorless, thick liquid with a natural, moderately sweet taste. 100% food grade vegetable glycerine is comprised of 99.7% fatty esters, made from either coconut or palm oil. The remaining 0.3% of vegetable glycerine is water.
Fatty esters do not have an effect on blood sugar, they do not create a glycemic response, and are tolerated well by people with Candida and Hypoglycemia. Water, temperature and pressure are used to create the vegetable glycerine, so it is not a raw product. The temperatures are high enough to kill enzymes and the material is also kept under pressure for 20-30 minutes.
The pH of vegetable glycerine is 7.0, so it does not have a negative effect on body’s pH. Our vegetable glycerine is tested for heavy metals, chlorides, sulfates, moisture and other impurities. It is as pure as you can obtain. |
